The ELEVEN collection was a huge learning process for me, especially when it came to making the rings and bracelets. It was really interesting to learn the process and exactly what went into making each piece. Like all the other pieces from ARMOR, each and every single ring and bracelet is hand made. I do not mass produce these so each one is truly unique. The photos below are the beginning stages of the LEDA Ring, AELLA Ring, and the SONJA Cuff.
Last week, Wienden + Kennedy (Hey Phil Chang!)hosted a fashion pop up store with local New York designers. A of few of my favorites were Saturdays SURF NYC, Bing Bang, United Bamboo and Warby Parker. Another one of my favorites was the lovely and talented Kerin Rose of A-morir. You may have seen her work on Lady Gaga, Rhianna, Katy Perry, Grace Jones, Snoop Dog, Nicki Minaj, and the list goes on and on. You know, no big deal.
I have been a fan of Kerin Rose for awhile, so of course it was a great pleasure to finally get to meet her and check out her collection in person. Everything you see from A-morir is completely hand-made, and that is definitely something I appreciate, seeing that everything from ARMOR is hand made as well. Check out the craftsmanship and the other awesome designers below…

A few weeks ago ARMOR held an intimate trunk show at KiKi de Montparnasse for the ELEVEN collection. The night consisted of champagne, good people, luxury lingerie and jewelry. Good times. Special thanks to the KiKi team for hosting this event!
As previously stated, I LOVE anything related to dance. I came across this video for RACHEL by Rachel Roy Spring 2011 video and it is BEAUTIFUL. I love the art direction. Everything from the music, dance, and clothing are on point. I especially love how the dancers used the clothing as props. One of my favorites, Jermaine Browne, choreographed the video. ( Check him out at the 1:45 min mark)
Jermaine Browne is a choreographed based in New York and has been dancing for years. His list of celebrity clientele is a statement to how impressive his work is. I have taken a few classes from him, and I come out of his class inspired every single time. Check out the video below and I am sure you wil see what I am talking about. Enjoy.
